At Emmanuel we want our church and our lives to be built on the Word of God and empowered by the Holy Spirit.

One way we do this is by reading through scripture together and this year we have given you a New Testament reading each day accompanied by a Psalm or Proverb every other day.

We don’t want to approach this with a tick box mentality, instead we want to come to the scriptures each day to feast on the story of Jesus, who declared himself to be ‘the bread of life’.
