Jesus Heals

Posted on - Tuesday, July 13th, 2010

On Sunday I preached about Jesus’ power to heal and promised to put a link online to a couple of healing testimonies that I spoke about during the sermon. Both of these videos are of individuals healed at Newday, a summer conference for young people gathering around 7000 people.

Newday 2010

Posted on - Friday, June 25th, 2010

Taking place this year from 11th – 16th August, Newday is primarily a youth event for 12-19’s although there are also lots of opportunities for those older to join us or to serve at the event.

If you would like to join Emmanuel Church at this event then you can get more details from Steve or by visiting http://www.newdaygeneration.org/.

It would be really helpful if you could book in before 1st July so that we get allocated appropriate space on our campsite. Thank you!

For those thinking of coming to Newday with us this year then please be aware that prices go up again after Friday 14th May so now might be a good time to book in. When you do register that you are with Emmanuel Church from the London list and you’ll be allocated to our site.

If you are going in a full time server role then, although you go for free, you still need to book in. If you are part of the ‘Rhythm Factory’ team you’ll need to get a server code from Ben Lindsay.

If you have any questions then feel free to contact Steve on steve@emmanuelchurchlondon.org

After a week away at the newfrontiers summer event for young people – Newday – we are back in business tomorrow afternoon at 4pm as usual with lots of stories to tell of God’s kindness and miraculous power…  Check out the newday blog for videos and updates of what happened during the week.

No Sunday Meeting – August 2nd

Posted on - Wednesday, July 29th, 2009

This weekend a load of us from the church are heading off to an event called Newday, which is for teenagers and gathers nearly 7000 people in Norwich.  Some are attending as teenagers, some are serving in cafes, kids groups, doing seminars, preaching etc.

As so many people are away we are not having our usual Sunday meeting at the Royal Naval College.

However, if you are around this weekend and still want to meet up with people, Chris + Meng plummer are hosting a BBQ in their house from 4pm on Sunday.  You can meet outside our normal venue at our normal time (4pm) and a group will be meeting there and walking round the corner to Chris + Meng’s house.

Just bring a drink and / or something to BBQ.  Everyone is welcome.
